Storm Causes Tree to Fall on Home

It's not uncommon for homeowners to experience a loose roof shingle or two during a severe storm. If proper maintenance hasn't been performed, or the roof in question is older, even more extreme damage can result from high winds and heavy rains; possibly causing water damage from a leak.

Roofs of any age, however, will fail when a tree falls on them. This home was damaged when a heavy storm caused a tree to fall onto the roof.  SERVPRO of Waxahachie / Midlothian removed the tree and its debris, and then attached a roof tarp to the house to prevent further damage while the inside was being remediated.
